The Utah Valley University Pitching & Catching Camp is designed to help increase accuracy, velocity, and provide proper arm care. Players from ages of 7th grade through 12th grade are invited to attend at our indoor UVU Geneva Dome!
Our own UVU coaching staff will teach hitting drills, approaches, and much more that college and professional pitchers also work on. The coaching staff will also work with catchers by doing catching drills to improve multiple areas of their defensive game. Areas of emphasis for these drills include blocking, receiving, body positioning, and much more. These drills will also be applied day-of while catchers work in the bullpen with live pitchers.
Food is NOT included, please bring your own. Water is provided, but due to COVID-19 we recommend you bring your own.
Equipment: Players need to bring their own gear including, but not limited to, helmet, bat, glove, cleats and turf shoes. Hat and any other baseball attire should be worn. Catchers will need to bring their own gear.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be given. Instead, a credit towards a future UVU Baseball camp in the same calendar year will be given.
We look forward to hosting in-person camps in 2021. The health and safety of campers is our primary focus. Our camps are currently scheduled to proceed as planned. Like you, we are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments. If it is determined that our camps should be canceled, we will issue campers a full refund. We will monitor the developments and we will make changes accordingly.
All camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by gender, number, age, and grade level.
