About Tara Spalding
Getting girls inspired to engage in technology and science is a goal of Hen House Venture’s founder and president Tara Spalding. She spends countless hours volunteering and mentoring for organizations like the Women Tech Council, which hosts the SheTech event that brings girls to a forum that is designed to inspire them to pursue STEM careers.
Additionally, she was the Founder and Head of Products for BenchPick Inc., where she was responsible for the prototype development and validation of the company's business strategies. She was the Marketing Vice President for Magnet Systems, Inc, and CMO of Groundwork Open Source. In addition to many other managing positions, she has also served as an Advisory for Commtrex, a Board Member for VentureCapital.org, an Event Committee Member for WERoC, and a SheTech Volunteer Mentor for the Women Tech Council.---
